County ZIP Codes: Multi-County Max
Do you need to find a county by ZIP Code? Do you need to know precisely which county an address is in? Up until now, the only way to know was to access a database of over 42 million records. At best this is unweildy and requires a lot of effort.
We have two unique multiple county ZIP Code products and one of our multiple counties zip code products should work for you.
Based on client feedback, we developed this product of county ZIP Codes to help clients maintain their own database of ZIP+4 (9-digit ZIP Code) record ranges. We have reduced the file size to less than 270,000 records!
To use this product, you will need to have an address which has an accurate ZIP+4 code in order to find the county by ZIP Code. It isn't very difficult, but if you aren't sure how to do this, contact us and we'll let you know various solutions. You just find the appropriate record in our ZIP+4 summary table and get the corresponding county assigned by the US Postal Service for that record. Note: if you only have a 5-digit ZIP Code and need to see all of the counties which that ZIP Code crosses, you may need our Multi-County ZIP Code data.
We include 3 normalized tables to make this process easy to load into your database:
- Our ZIP+4 Summary table has 6 fields: the 5-digit ZIP Code, the beginning and ending ZIP+4 Range, the state abbreviation, the County FIPS Code (a standard code for each county within a state), and the Place Name (city or town).
- Our States table has 3 fields: the State Abbreviation, the State FIPS Code, and the State Name.
- Our Counties table has 4 fields: the State Abbreviation, the State FIPS Code, the County FIPS Code, and the County Name.
The price for this county ZIP Code product is $500 per year.
