We've talked to clients who have locators, but their customers have the following complaints:

• The distances are 'as the crow flies' and don't always show the correct nearest locations based or driving time or distance.
• They couldn't find the location because the map's push pin location wasn't accurate. Here's an example of a location in the middle of a large parking lot:
• Would you want your kids attending this academy?:
• The computerized directions are confusing or incorrect.
• The location's info has typos.
• If they aren't in a big city, they often don't get any results and have to go back and keep increasing their search radius.

A few additional details:

• Most locators are computer assigned lat/long coordinates through a process called 'geocoding.' Geocoding is approximate and is based on interpolating where a location is. We checked a location using the top mapping companies and found the results to be off by 1/3 to almost 3 miles. We found a large insurance company's local office to be about 1/2 mile off. Our saying: Lost Customers = Lost Business. Because of this, we created our SpotCheck service to quickly verify each location.
• No need for your customer to try different search radius'. SpotOn will automatically zoom out until a location is found.
• There's no need for your customers to have to enter their address for directions. We have a draggable pushpin that they can position to where they are and the directions will automatically adjust to start from that location!
• Users can look at a road map, or switch to Bird's Eye view to see what the building looks like. They can rotate the view to see the front of the building.
• You can choose which search filters can be used (product line, agent name, type of location [branch, main office, etc.])

We host the locator so there is no maintenance whatsoever on your part. Our pricing includes all hosting costs (bandwidth, database space, etc.) We price based on the number of locations (the number of records in your locator database). Larger organizations require more resources and are priced accordingly.

• For less than 500 locations, $495 per year.
• For 501 to 1,000 locations, $995 per year.
• For over 1,000 locations, please call so that we can determine your needs.
